Welcome to Seasoned Thirty
At Seasoned Thirty, I believe that my life's happenings are peppered with moments worth sharing. From the heartwarming to soul crushing, my blog is simply to bring you true life stories that are relatable and raw.
I may be a mere Thirty something years old, but life has Seasoned me beyond my years for a reason.
Perhaps, this blog?
The Inspiration to write began here...
My journey to learning more about mental health issues in our youth and more personally, within my immediate family, began with this.
Whether I wanted to learn or not, life was going to teach me...
This blog is the true story of the beginning of my child's mental health struggle and self-harm habits*
Wipeout
Parenting a child who struggles with self-harm is like a twisted television game show that you never wanted to be a part of.
If you are going through parenting a child with self-harm behavior, this blog may show you that your struggles are not soley yours.
Take a listen...
A local non-profit organization puts on a Gala to raise awareness & funds for mental health in our community. A fun way to bring in donations: "Mr. Starry Night" contest complete with speeches, questionnaires, & a talent show. This year, a young man took the stage with his sister to sing this song, and I fell in love with it. Take a minute to really listen to the lyrics & perhaps share it with someone who may need to hear it.

About the page
Welcome to Seasoned Thirty, a blog that I started simply because I love to write, and life has provided the content on its own. Here, I will share real stories about life, love, triumphs, and mishaps. I created this page to foster a sense of connection and camaraderie among readers from all walks of life. Whatever stage of life you're navigating through, I hope you can find something here to entertain, resonate with, and perhaps even enlighten you. My mission is to entertain but also to speak to anyone who may stumble across my page, not knowing they needed to read my article that day, and leave my page comforted, less alone, and coming back for more.
